Here's one more card featuring the Lovely Lattice Stamp Set from Stampin' Up!.

The large flower stamp was heat embossed using Embossing Buddy, Versamark Ink, White Embossing Powder and my Heat Tool on Basic Black Cardstock.

Then I used my Stampin' Up! Chalk Marker to cover the black paper in the flower sections.

Once the chalk marker was dry I applied the colors using Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo & Daffodil Delight Stampin' Write Markers.  Because of the combination of the black paper and chalk marker behind the ink from the markers, you can see the colors aren't quite true to their tones.  But I was fine with that and love how they turned out.

I mounted the card onto a Tempting Turquoise Cardstock mat.

This is definitely my favorite stamp from the 2019 Sale-A-Bration Promotion and was free with a $50 purchase.

This A2 size card features the Falling Flowers Stamp Set from Stampin' Up!.

I created this background piece by stamping Tranquil Tide, Mint Macaron and Balmy Blue ink onto my Clear Block F.   Then I Spritzed the block with water and placed a piece of Water Color Paper onto the block. You can get a lot of different effects depending on the amount of water and color you put on the block, and you never get the same results twice.  Let the paper dry thoroughly before proceeding.

The design is was heat embossed using the Embossing Buddy, Versamark Ink, White Embossing Powder and Heat Tool.

The word dies were cut from Tranquil Tide Cardstock using the Celebrate You Thinlits.

The top mat was glued to a Tranquil Tide Cardstock  Bottom Mat using Tombow Glue and then attached to a White Card Base using Tape Runner.

I used a Shimmer Spray across the whole top of the card for a nice added finishing touch, but its hard to see in this picture.

Here's another version using a mat sponged with  Highland Heather, Blueberry Bushel and a little bit of Old Olive Ink, Gold Embossing Powder, with a Congratulations sentiment from the August 2018 Paper Pumpkin kit "Blissful Blooms", cut with a die from the Petal and More Thinlits, and mounted on a Gold Foil Paper background.

And another version using the flower from Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set on a mat that I stamped with the Watercolor Wash  Stamp. I used several color inks:  Tranquil Tide, Bermuda Bay, Mint Macaron and Emerald Envy.

Then I used a sponge dauber and the Emerald Envy Ink to color the white sections and give the card a more blended look.

The sentiment is from Blended Seasons Stamp Set.

Here are 3 more cards I have made with the Lovely Lattice Stamp Set from Stampin' Up!

I have used Cherry Cobbler, Blackberry Bliss & Basic Black Cardstock for the top mats.   All 3 were first wiped down with the Embossing Buddy, Stamped with Versamark Ink,  heat embossed with the Heat Tool using White Embossing Powder.  Then the flowers on the all 3 cards were painted with Whisper White Ink.

On the Cherry Cobbler card the white ink created a nice pink tone when it dried.  I liked it so much I left it as is.

I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from Detailed with Love Stamp Set in Cherry Cobbler Ink on Whisper White Cardstock.

Die cut the sentiment with a die from Stitched Label Framelits. I threaded White Organza Ribbon thru the die cut and attached it to the card.

The mat was glued with Tombow Glue onto a piece of Pink Pirouette Cardstock and then both glued to a White Card Base.

I used the same process with Whisper White Ink on the Blackberry Bliss card.

I stamped the Thank You sentiment from Rose Wonder Stamp Set in Blackberry Bliss ink on Whisper White Cardstock.

Die cut the sentiment with a die from Merry Christmas Thinlits.  And popped it up with Dimensionals.

I attached 2 pieces of the White Organza Ribbon on the mat, simply taping them to the back of the card.

The mat was glued to a piece of DSP from the Color Theory DSP Paper Set.  And then both pieces glued to a White Card Base.

On the Basic Black Card I decided to color the flowers with Stampin' Write Markers.  I used Elegant Eggplant, Bermuda Bay, and Daffodil Delight.

This Happy Birthday sentiment is from Detailed with Love Stamp Set  using Tempting Turquoise Ink on Whisper White Cardstock.

The sentiment was die cut with a die from the Stitched Label Framelits and popped up with Dimensionals on top of a piece of the White Organza Ribbon.

I used a Spritzer to spray the top mat with a mix of Frosted White Shimmer Paint and Alcohol to add some sparkle to the black mat.

Then glued it to a piece of Tempting Turquoise Cardstock and then both pieces glued to a White Card Base.

This A2 sized card features the Pressed Flower Stamp Set, a host set from Stampin' Up!.

I created the background mat by Spritzing water, that was colored with a few drops of ink from my Old Olive Reinker, onto a smooth plastic surface.  (I use a place mat).  Then I placed a piece of Watercolor Paper onto the spritzed surface and let it absorb the color.  Remove the paper & let the piece thoroughly dry.

The effect is different every time, depending on the amount of water you spray and the amount of ink you add to the water.  I will often make several pieces up at time using several different color inks and then set them aside for later use.

When the piece is dry I used Early Espresso Ink to stamp the texture stamp on the bottom of the mat.

I used a piece of Removable Tape to cover the stamped texture once it was dry, and then used Old Olive Ink to stamp the various flowers.

The sentiment was also stamped in Old Olive ink and is from the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set.

I die cut the mat using the one of the Rectangle Stitched Framelits.  And glued the piece using Tombow Glue onto Always Artichoke Cardstock and then both pieces onto a White Card Base.

Because my background mat was prepared previously, this card was really easy and quick to make.

Here's another A2 size card featuring the Rose Wonder Stamp Set and Brusho Crystals from Stampin' Up!

I started this card by heat embossing the large rose stamp onto Whisper White Cardstock.   First rub the Embossing Buddy across the front of the mat.  Stamp the image using Versamark Ink.  Sprinkle on White Embossing Powder.  Flick off any excess.  And heat the powder with your Heat Tool.

Then I sprinkled Yellow Brusho Crystals onto the flower section of the image.   And sprinkled Moss Green Brusho Crystals on the leaf sections.  Using your Spritzer - lightly spray water on the card until you are happy with the look.  Let the card mat dry completely.

Once the mat was dry, I stamped the sentiment using Mossy Meadow Ink.

I glued the mat to a piece of Mossy Meadow Cardstock and then used Tape Runner to attach both pieces to a white card base.

Finished by adding a few Coordinating Enamel Shapes.

This A2 size card features the Rose Wonder Stamp Set by Stampin' Up!

I began with the heat embossing process on Watercolor Paper.  First use your Embossing Buddy to "powder" the top of the paper.   Stamp the large flower stamp from the set with Versamark Ink.  Sprinkle White Embossing Powder onto the stamped outline.   Shake off any excess.  Use the Heat Tool to "melt" the embossing powder.

I water colored the image using Rich Razzleberry & Berry Burst Inks on the flower,  Mossy Meadow and a small amount of Rich Razzleberry on the leaves.  I found it easiest to use drops of ink on a clear block, then used my Aqua Painters to apply a mix of water and ink to the image.

I fussy cut the flower piece.

I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the set onto Whisper White Cardstock in Rich Razzleberry Ink, the outline was stamped with Mossy Meadow Ink.  And then the piece was die cut with the Coordinating Rose Garden Thinlits Die.

I took a piece of Soft Sea Foam Cardstock and embossed it with the Tufted Embossing Folder.  For a more defined pattern, lightly spritz some water onto the piece of cardstock before embossing.

I popped up the flower piece and sentiment using Dimensionals onto the Soft Sea Foam piece.

Then glued it onto a Mossy Meadow card base.

The trellis pieces were cut from Whisper White Cardstock.

Then the flower piece was stamped with Memento Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock.

The sentiment for both cards is from Climbing Roses Stamp Set and stamped in Old Olive Ink.  The die I used to cut out the sentiment is from the Coordinating Rose Trellis Thinlits.

The flowers and leaves for this first card were colored with Mango Melody & Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blend Sets.

The trellis was glued to Old Olive Cardstock and mounted on Mossy Meadow Cardstock.

Then attached to a white card base.

The flowers and leaves for this second card were colored with Blackberry Bliss, Rich Razzleberry, and Old Olive Stampin' Blend Sets.

The trellis was glued to Mossy Meadow Cardstock and mounted on Old Olive Cardstock.

Then attached to a white card base.

Coordinating Enamel Shapes were added for accent.

Both the Flower piece and the sentiment were popped up with Dimensionals.

I used Wink of Stella to "color" all of the flowers and leaves of the heat embossed image..

The Bermuda Bay Cardstock piece was die cut with a die from Detailed Santa Thinlits at the top and bottom of the piece.

This card features the Oh So Eclectic Stamp Set and its coordinating Eclectic Layers Thinlits Dies from Stampin' Up!.

I began by doing all the stamping.  For the flower backgrounds I used Blackberry Bliss and Blueberry Bushel Ink on Whisper White Cardstock.  I used Shaded Spruce on WW Cardstock for the leaves.

Then I die cut the top pieces of the flowers from Blackberry Bliss and Night of Navy Cardstock, the little stems from Shaded Spruce Cardstock.  The leaves were cut as stamped.

I die cut a piece of Mint Macaron Cardstock using the diamond shaped geometric die for the top mat of the card.

I glued the flower sections together and then glued and popped up the pieces to the top mat as shown.

I stamped the Thinking of You sentiment from Colorful Seasons in Shaded Spruce Ink.

Then I glued the top mat to a white card base.

Add lastly, I added a few White Perfect Accents on the card front.

These 3 cards feature Lovely Lattice stamp set from Stampin' Up!

For this 1st one I stamped onto Natural White Cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I colored the flowers and lattice edges with Bermuda Bay, Pool Party and Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends.

I added a piece of Bermuda Bay Ribbon at the bottom.

The sentiment is from Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and was stamped in Bermuda Bay Ink onto Pool Party Cardstock.  It was die cut with a die from Bunch of Banners Framelits and popped up with Dimensionals.

The bird is from Serene Gardens stamp set and was stamped in Tranquil Tide ink onto Pool Party Cardstock.  It was also popped up with Dimensionals.

The top mat was glued to Pool Party Cardstock and mounted on a white card base.

This 2nd card was stamped using Versamark ink on Mossy Meadow Cardstock . I sprinkled the card front with White Embossing Powder, shook off the excess, and used the Heat Tool to melt & set the powder.

I painted the flowers with White Acrylic Paint, let it dry thoroughly and then colored them with Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends.  The paint doesn't go on smoothly and it  gives the card a hand painted look.

I used the Detailed Trio Punch to cut the corners of the cardstock.

The sentiment was die cut from Daffodil Delight Cardstock with Celebrate You Thinlits Dies and glued onto a strip of White Organza Ribbon.

The top mat was glued to a piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock and then glued to a white card base.

This 3rd card was stamped using Versamark ink on Blueberry Bushel Cardstock.  I sprinkled the card front with White Embossing Powder, shook off the excess, and used a heat tool to set the powder.

For this version, I painted Whisper White Craft ink onto the flowers, let it dry thoroughly and then colored them with Night of Navy and Melon Mango Stampin' Blends.  ( I think Stampin' Write Markers would have worked better as the alcohol markers do not wipe off the White Embossing Powder.  Later  I touched up the white with Stampin' Up!'s chalk marker but the line was thicker than I would have liked.)

The sentiment was die cut from Balmy Blue Cardstock with Celebrate You Thinlits dies and glued to the bottom of the top mat.

The top mat was then glued to a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock and both then glued to a white card base.

Here's one more card:

And glued the two mats onto a layer of Real Red cardstock.   And then all of the mats onto a White card base.

The sentiment is from Bella & Friends stamp set.

These 3 cards feature the Lasting Lily stamp set by Stampin' Up!

I stamped the four petals from Lasting Lily as shown in Flirty Flamingo Ink on Whisper White cardstock.

I glued the top mat onto a piece of Flirty Flamingo and then both pieces to a white card base.

As Christmas is fast approaching, I have spent the last few days putting finishing touches on several Holiday Cards that were started, but not quite complete.

This first one uses the large "Blizzard" stamp from the Beautiful Blizzard stamp set from Stampin' Up!, which was stamped as a background for the sentiment stamp from Merry Christmas to All set, and the trees from Lovely as a Tree,  I used Pool Party and Tranquil Tide inks.   This is an A2 size card.

Merry Christmas to all my Blogger Friends!

These first 2 cards feature the die from the Beautiful Blizzard Bundle in Stampin' Up!'s 2018 Holiday Catalog.   The Blizzard Thinlits Die is a single die that cuts out lots of snowflakes all at once.   The pieces at the top of these 2 cards are from the cardstock left behind after the snowflakes are all removed.   I trimmed the pieces to size to fit my card and also added a few of the snowflakes and the sentiment to the bottom of the card.
This last card features the large snowflake from Snowfall Thinlets.  I mounted it on a piece of Christmas DSP and a Cherry Cobbler cardstock.  These three are all A2 size cards.

These 2 cards feature the tree stamps from the Winter Woods Bundle from Stampin' Up!.  One stamped and mounted in Shaded Spruce, and the other using Tranquil Tide.  These are both A7 size cards.

Thursday, December 13, 2018

This holiday card features the Winter Woods stamp set from Stampin' Up!.  I began by sponging some Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana ink on the top mat of Whisper White CS. Then I stamped the trees with Versamark ink using clear embossing powder. To darken the background I sponged some Island Indigo ink onto the mat and then wiped off the embossed area revealing the lighter colored trees. I finished the card front by heat embossing some "snow" across the mat using white embossing powder. The Sentiment is from the November 2018 Paper Pumpkin kit. This card was inspired by a video done by Linda Bedinger.

Here's another card using a the same process, with different inks and a different layout.

These are both A2 size cards.
