Just finished several alternative cards from Stampin' Up!'s May 2018 Manly Moments Paper Pumpkin Kit. This first one is the one closest to the original design - but I have added some extra stamping on the cut-outs using SU's Waterfront stamp set which coordinates so well with this kit.  I have made 8 alternative cards so far and still have lots of materials left. Here are a couple more.  These are all A2 size cards.

This Happy Birthday card features the Waterfront stamp set by Stampin' Up!  I think found this to be a quick and easy masculine card. I used the stamps and sponge daubers to create the different sections of the card. Then I added a couple of small boats using the April 2018 You Are My Anchor stamp set which coordinates very well with this stamp set. This is an A2 size card.

This "Special Day" card features the new Stitched All Around stamp set by Stampin' Up!.   I love this saying as it could be used for  a birthday, an anniversary, or even elegant enough for a wedding.  I mounted it on a Elegant Eggplant mat and embellished with some die cut flowers, twine and a strip of DSP.  Any small flower stamp set could work to make a quick and easy card for any special occasion. This is an A2 size card.  Click Here for a Material List, Directions & Links to Stampin' Up! Products Used.

This Mountain Scene card was designed using Stampin' Up!'s Waterfront Stamp Set.  The background piece was embossed using their Seaside Embossing Folder.  The mountains scene was  stamped using Smoky Slate, Tranquil Tide and Soft Sky Inks. This is an A2 size card. Click Here for a Material List, Directions & Links to Stampin" Up! products Used.
This Rainy Day card features one of the "Girls" from Stampin' Up!'s Beautiful You stamp set and features the Sheltering Tree stamp set as well.  The card uses masking techniques, sponge daubing and water-coloring with Aqua Painters. This is an A7 size card. Click Here for a material List, Directions & Links to Stampin' Up! Products used.
Another Friendship Card - this was created using Stampin' Up!'s Serene Garden stamp set & coordinating Garden Scene Framelits dies.  I love this new, elegant stamp set.   I used their Pink Pirouette and Tranquil Tide inks and papers, and then added a few scattered enamel shapes and some Wink of Stella to the flowers. The sentiment is from their March 2018 Paper Pumpkin kit.  This is an A2 size card.Click Here for a Material List, Directions & Links to Stampin' Up! Products used.
I used Stampin' UP!'s Petal Palette stamp set and Petals & More Thinlits dies to create this card. The flowers, leaves and bird were water-colored using their Aqua Painters and their Elegant Eggplant, Perfect Plum, Old Olive, Pear Pizazz, Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry inks on water-color paper. I attached all the pieces onto Whisper White cardstock, added a few enamel  accents, and then matted it onto a piece of Elegant Eggplant cardstock and the card base. This is an A2 size card.  Click Here for a Material List, Directions & Links to Stampin' Up! products used.

I designed this "Let's Celebrate" card using some old and some new product from Stampin' Up!.  The card features Mint Macaroon and Tranquil Tide card stock, the Detailed with Love stamp set and punch Bundle and a Detailed with Love Note Card, Flourishing Phrases stamp set and Flourish Thinlits, and Rose Wonder stamp set & Rose Garden Thinlits. This is an A2 size card.

I am so glad I ordered this Rose Wonder stamp set and the coordinating Rose Garden Thinlits before the 2017-18 catalog expired as they have both been retired.  Its so quick and easy to make a beautiful card using this set.   For this first card I stamped the larger flower design in Versamark Ink and then embossed it with silver embossing powder.  I used Wisteria Wonder and Wild Wasabi inks to color the stamped design.  The sentiment is from the Heartfelt Blooms SAB set.  I layered onto Wisteria Wonder mat and then onto a Sahara Sand card base.  This is an A2 size Card.

For this 2nd one I used Calypso Coral & Old Olive inks and card stock.  Of course one of the flowers was stamped and colored as above.  The other flower was die cut with the coordinating Thinlits. The sentiment was included in the stamp set. This is an A7 size card. Click Here for a Material List, Directions & Links to Stampin' Up! Products Used

This 3rd card was even easier.  The large flower shape is cut  from whisper white card stock.  You keep the corner scrap and glue it and the die cut onto the cardstock color of your choice.  I used the new Coastal Cabana paper and then mounted it onto Bermuda Bay.  This is an A2 size card.

I created this "Thinking of You" card featuring one of the birds from Stampin' Up!'s "Best Birds" stamp set based on card sketch #29 by Dawn Griffith.  I used Pool Party, Crumb Cake, & Daffodil Delight Stampin Blends to color the bird and die cut it using the coordinating die from Birds and Blooms Thinlits. I stamped the "Marbled" Stamp in Pool Party ink for the background mat - which was cut with one of the Lots of Framelits Dies. The other mats are cut out of  Pool Party, Early Expresso & Tranquil Tide cardstock. The card was embellished with coordinating Enamel Shapes. This is an A2 size card.

Here are a couple of my alternatives for the April 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit "You Are My Anchor" from Stampin' Up!  What a fun set with endless possibilities of cards for all your beach and sea-faring friends. I love this color combination of Calypso Coral, Island Indigo & Pool Party.  These are all A2 size cards.

I have made 15 cards so far from the March 2018 Paper Pumpkin "May Good Things Grow" kit from Stampin' Up!. These are a few examples.  I was fortunate to have ordered an extra kit so have plenty of materials left to work with.  I didn't use any of the envelopes for the purpose that they were intended - but instead trimmed them to size for the front of the cards. I especially loved the flower in the stamp set and the colors/patterns of the card stock included.
