In searching for some card ideas on Pinterest and You Tube I started watching card-making videos for ideas and techniques - and have become hooked. I was impressed with the quality and variety of coordinating products from Stampin' Up! and became an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in May of 2017.

Stampin' Up!'s Birthday Blossoms stamp set (retiring May 31st) was used to create this card. I used their Crushed Curry, Perfect Plum, and Wild Wasabi inks to stamp the flowers, leaves, and sentiments - and matted them on rectangles cut from the same colors of cardstock. The flowers were die cut using their Pansy Punch (retiring May 31st). I had been eyeing this stamp set for some time now and glad I was able to purchase the set before the inventory was depleted. Their Flower Shop stamp set is also retiring this year - so sad to see it go as it uses the same Pansy Punch and I have created lots and lots of cards with the set. This is an A7 size card and was inspired by a sketch provided by Dawn Griffith.
Here's another card using the Flourish Thinlits Dies from Stampin' Up!. I have cut the flower shapes from a gold foil paper and then matted them on some small squares of Springtime Foils DSP which I daubed with some Crushed Curry ink. The centers of the flowers were embellished with some silver metallic hearts. This sentiment is from the March Paper Pumpkin "May Good Things Grow" kit and was stamped in Crushed Curry ink onto a Lots of Labels Framelits die cut. This is an A7 size card inspired by a sketch provided by Dawn Griffith.
These 2 cards were created using Stampin' Up!'s Flourishing Phrases stamp set and coordinating Flourish Thinlits dies. Both of these cards were inspired by sketches provided by Dawn Griffith.
For this first card I started by creating a background by stamping the large flower flourish onto white cardstock using Wisteria Wonder Ink. The dies and large background mat were cut from Elegant Eggplant cardstock. The smaller mat is Perfect Plum cardstock. The sentiment is from their Birthday Blossoms stamp set and stamped with Perfect Plum ink. The sentiment and flower block were popped up with Stampin' dimensionals. And a couple of their silver Metallic Enamel Shapes were added for that little bit of bling.
This 2nd card was done in Emerald Green ink and coordinating cardstock. The sentiment is also from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set. The butterfly is from the retired Papillion Potpourri stamp set - but any butterfly stamp could be used.

This card was created using Stampin' Up!'s Party Pandas stamp set. The pandas were stamped and fussy cut - then applied to some background mats. This mat then slips into a little pocket made from some diagonal cuts of coordinating cardstock. The balloon (cut from green glitter paper) was punched with the Balloon Bouquet punch. This is an 2 size card inspired by a sketch provided by Dawn Griffith.
This card was created using the Beautiful Peacock stamp set from Stampin' Up!'s 2018 Sale-A-Bration catalog. The images were stamped directly onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock using their Marina Mist, Tranquil Tide, Pear Pizzazz and Soft Sky inks and then matted onto a piece of Dapper Denim cardstock and embellished with a coordinating ribbon. The sentiment is from their Birthday Blossoms stamp set. This is an A7 size card. The stamp set was free during the months of January thru March 2018 with a qualifying purchase.
This card was created using the Amazing You stamp set from Stampin' Up!'s 2018 Sale-A-Bration catalog. The flowers and sentiment were stamped with their Pacific Point ink. Two of the flowers were fussy cut and popped up onto a water-colored background, and then matted onto a piece of Pacific Point cardstock and embellished with a coordinating ribbon. This is an A2 size card inspired by a Pinterest post done by Amanda Fowler. The stamp set was free during the months of January thru March 2018 with a qualifying purchase.
