These are several alternative cards I designed using the October Paper Pumpkin kit "Pining for Plaid" from Stampin Up combined with some other stamps sets and embellishments I had on hand.
In searching for some card ideas on Pinterest and You Tube I started watching card-making videos for ideas and techniques - and have become hooked. I was impressed with the quality and variety of coordinating products from Stampin' Up! and became an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in May of 2017.

I started this Christmas card by embossing a scrap of white paper with Anna Griffin's Snowfall embossing folder and then die cutting 2 snowflakes using a circle die from Stampin Ups' Stitched Shape Framelits Dies. Then the background mat and the 3rd ornament shape were stamped using the 2 small snowflakes stamps from the October Paper Pumpkin kit with Bermuda Bay ink. All 3 ornaments were then sponged with Bermuda Bay. The gold strips are washi tape, the ornament hangers were cut from gold foil paper on my Cricut Explore Air 2. I am planning to make more of these in some of my other favorite Christmas colors.
I have been working on Christmas cards for the past couple of weeks. This one was created with a winter scene design stamp set from Hero Arts (#CL896) with coordinating dies. The background was created by using some removable labeling tape to separate the sky from the snow-covered ground and to mask for the moon. Once that was done I simply stamped the trees and house from the set. Then I used a stamp made by Stampabilities called Santa Sleigh Silhouette for the sleigh and reindeer. The inks were from Stampin' Up. For the trees: Garden Green, Always Artichoke and Chocolate Chip. The sky: Night of Navy with some Memento Black. And then the house was stamped with Cherry Cobbler. A7 size card.
This second one used that same stamp set with the same process for the background but with a large yellow moon. A7 size card.

Here the deer, trees, moon and the sleigh were either die or fuzzy cut and some were popped up for dimension. The sentiment is from Stampin Up's October Paper Pumpkin kit. I used Stampin Up's Night of Navy and Perfect Plum inks for the sky. The snow was lightly sponged with some Marina Mist. I used Garden Green for the trees, Chocolate Chip for the deer, and Real Red for the sentiment. A2 size card.
This card was created using Stampin Ups' Weather Together stamp set and the coordinating Umbrella Weather dies.
The set is easy and fun to use with endless color combination possibilities. I cut out lots of umbrellas, clouds and handles, glued them all together and then picked out three. For this card I used Bermuda Bay and Pumpkin Pie inks. The lovely sentiment is from the same stamp set. A7 size card.
This is a fairly new stamp set for me - Stampin Up's Beautiful Bouquet with coordinating Bouquet Bunch Framelits Dies. There is quite a bit of stamping and die cutting for this card - this set is packed with lots of flower shapes to pick from.
When I work with flower shapes I tend to stamp a lot of different types of flowers and in lots of different colors - then put the card together picking from what I have cut. That is what I did for this card. The flowers were stamped with Perfect Plum and Berry Burst inks. The sentiment is from the same stamp set. A7 size card.
