In searching for some card ideas on Pinterest and You Tube I started watching card-making videos for ideas and techniques - and have become hooked. I was impressed with the quality and variety of coordinating products from Stampin' Up! and became an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in May of 2017.

This card was created using the two leaf stamps in Stampin Up's September Paper Pumpkin kit "Layered Leaves". I stamped the leaves using a technique I saw on Jennifer McQuire's You Tube channel. I set up the 2 leaves on my Misti and used sponge daubers to apply inks, one color at a time, stamping the leaf and then applying the next color. I used Garden Green, Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight inks. The leaf on the center pop-up was from Stampin Up's Colorful Seasons stamp set, colored in using one of their blender pens, and cut using their square stitched dies. The process takes some time and in this case I was not always able to tell what color was where but I loved the effect.
