In searching for some card ideas on Pinterest and You Tube I started watching card-making videos for ideas and techniques - and have become hooked. I was impressed with the quality and variety of coordinating products from Stampin' Up! and became an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in May of 2017.

This page features four cards each with 3 "trees"on them. I used standard 5-1/4" x 4" bottom mat of cardstock and then added a standard 5" x 3-3/4" DSP. Any colors that you have in your stash can be substituted with the papers I've used here. The sentiment is from the Star of Light Stamp Set and was stamped on scrap pieces of cardstock in coordinating colors.
-The sentiment was stamped using Real Red Ink and popped up with Dimensionals.
-1 Pretty Peacock (not stamped) and 2 Pool Party Trees stamped using the Pretty Peacock Ink with a pattern stamp from the featured stamp set. Only the center tree was popped up with Dimensionals and a Gold Glitter Star was added to the top.
-The center tree was cut from a coordinating piece of striped DSP, popped up with Dimensionals and a Star added to the top,, and then 2 Very Vanila Trees stamped with Garden Green Ink using a pattern stamp from the stamp set attached with Tape Runner.
- The sentiment was stamped using Garden Green ink on a scrap piece of Very Vanila CS, framed with Garden Green CS.
-1 White Tree was stamped with a pattern stamp from the stamp set using Shaded Spruce Ink and was popped up in the center, and a star added to the top. The other 2 trees were cut from Gold Glitter Paper. They were attached with Tape Runner slightly lower than the first tree.
- The sentiment was stamped using Shaded Spruce Ink on a scrap piece of White CS.

These cards all feature the large Poinsettia from the featured Stamp Set cut out with the coordinating dies. The flower can be made with 3 or 4 layers, which are aranged as shown. I creased and bent each petal and the leaves (if used) to add some dimension to the flower. By using various color flowers with coordinating colored DSP the possibilities are endless, with each card being unique.
By each card I have added notes about the color cardstock used, the flower centers, and sentiment stamps. The flowers and pieces are assembled similarly.
