This is Part 4 of a 6 Part Series featuring the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set and the coordinating Pine Tree Punch by Stampin' Up!
This page features two cards each with 3 "trees"on them. I used standard 5-1/4" x 4" bottom mats of cardstock. Any colors of DSP or CS that you have in your stash can be substituted with the papers I've used here. The sentiment is from the Star of Light Stamp Set and was stamped on scrap pieces of White cardstock in coordinating colors.
-The bottom mat for this first card was cut from Cherry Cobbler CS.
-Next I added a piece of Stampin' Up's "Silver" MercuryAcetate paper to the mat, attaching it with Glue Dots hidden behind the solid sections of the piece.
-I cut a scalloped circle from Silver Foil Paper using the Layered Circle Dies and popped it up with Dimensionals.
-I punched 1 tree from Cherry Cobbler CS, added a Silver Glitter Star to the top, and attached it toward the center of the foil piece using Tape Runner.
-I punched 2 trees from White CS that I stamped with one of the pattern stamps from the featured stamp set using Real Red Ink. They were both popped up with Dimensionals.
-The sentiment was stamped using Cherry Cobbler Ink and popped up.
-The bottom mat for this second card was cut from Shaded Spruce CS and embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder.
-Then I added a 3" wide plaid piece of co-ordinating DSP to the center of the mat with Tape Runner.
-I cut the circle from White CS and then a 2nd scalloped circle from Gold Glitter Paper using the Layering Circle Dies. The 2 circles were attached using Tombow Glue, and then attached to the mat using Tape Runner.
-I punched 2 trees from Shaded Spruce CS, and 1 from the DSP. The added a Gold Foil Star to the top of the DSP tree and popped it up with Dimensionals.
-The sentiment was stamped with Cherry Cobbler Ink and popped up.
