Today's post features the The Gangs All Meer Stamp Set from Stampin' Up!.  This was part of the January-February 2021 Sale-A Bration Promotion. Such a cute set!

-The standard size (5-1/4 x 4") bottom mat for this first card was cut from Emerald Green CS.
-The standard size (5 x 3-3/4") top mat for this card was cut from Whisper White CS.
-The "gang" of meers and the cactus were stamped directly onto the top mat with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Stampin' Blends.  I used almost all of he different brown sets to color the meers, Call Me Clover for the cacti, and various pinks for the flowers on the cacti.  Markers or colored pencils or watercolor pencils could be used as an alternative coloring method.
-Lastly I used a Blending Brush with Balmy Blue Ink to highlight around the meers.

-The standard bottom size mat for this card was cut from Soft Suede CS.
-The standard size top mat for this card was cut from Whisper White CS.
-The two single meers and the cactus were stamped with Memento Ink and colored using Stampin' Blends as on the above card.
-This time I shaded around the meers using Blending Brushes and Crumb Cake Ink on the bottom 1/4 of the card and Balmy Blue Ink on the top 3/4 of the card.
-The sentiment is from the Hello Friend Stamp Set using Soft Suede Ink.

-Here's a very similar version to the cards above - but I have held off on adding a sentiment until I am ready to mail it.













-For this last card I stamped the various images on scrap pieces of Whisper White CS, colored them with the Stampin' Blend Sets, did a bit of shading on the background with Blending Brushes, and then cut them out with one of the smaller Layering Circle Dies.
-The standard bottom mat for this card was cut from Emerald Envy CS, which I embossed using the Painted Texture Embossing Folder that I inked first with Crumb Cake Ink.
-The strips of brown paper were cut from Soft Suede CS.
-The sentiment is from the Rooted in Nature Stamp Set, it was stamped on a scrap of Whisper White CS, cut out with one of the Layering Circle Dies and matted on a scalloped circle die cut from Soft Suede CS using one of the scalloped circles form the same die set.
-All of the circles were popped up with Dimensionals.

 This is Part 10 of a 10 Part Series of Masculine Cards that I have just completed using various stamp sets. I will be posting cards using other stamp sets over the next several days.

Today's post features the Best Catch Stamp Set and the coordinating Catch of the Day Dies from Stampin' Up!.

-The standard bottom mat on this first card was cut from Night of Navy CS.
-The top mat was cut from Smoky Slate CS that was embossed using the Painted Texture Embossing Folder that I inked with Smoky Slate Ink.
-The Basket and Hat are from the featured set and were stamped with Memento Ink, colored with Night of Navy and Crumb Cake Stampin' Blend Sets,  The hat was popped up with Dimensionals.
-The 4 fish were cut out using the featured dies from scraps of Cinnamon Cider, Misty Moonlight, and Night of Navy CS.  They were tied to a "stringer" made from twine.

-The standard bottom mat for this second card was cut from Soft Suede CS.
-The standard top mat was cut from Whisper White CS that was cut from Balmy Blue CS and embossed using the Seaside Embossing Folder.
-The hook was cut from Soft Suede CS, tied with a piece of twine, popped up with Dimensional, and the twine then tied to the back of the top mat.
-The cattail plant was cut from Old Olive CS and colored with Stampin' Blends and attached to the card with Tape Runner.
-The small fish was cut from Garden Green CS and popped up with dimensionals.
-The large fish was left over from a group of cards I made some time ago with this set, it was cut from a scrap piece of Whisper White CS, stamped with Memento Ink and colored with Stampin' Blends., it was popped up with Dimensionals.


-The standard size bottom mat was cut from Granny Apple Green CS.
-The top mat from Whisper White CS.
-The fisherman was stamped with Early Espresso Ink.
-The cattail plant was cut from Granny Apple Green CS, and colored with Stampin Blends.
-The grasses are from the High Tide Stamp Set and were stamped with Early Espresso and Granny Apple Green Inks.
-The top mat was lightly shaded using Blending Brushes and Crumb Cake Ink.

 This is Part 9 of a 10 Part Series of Masculine Cards that I have just completed using various stamp sets. I will be posting cards using other stamp sets over the next several days.

Today's post features the In The Pines Stamp Set and the coordinating Pine Woods Dies from Stampin' Up!. 

-For this first card the standard size bottom mat and the trees were cut from Shaded Spruce CS.
-The standard size top mat was cut from Whisper White CS and embossed using the Evergreen Embossing Folder, then the raised trees were sponged with Shaded Spruce Ink and the flat areas were sponged with Balmy Blue Ink.
-I sprayed the top mat with Shimmer Spray and then attached the die cut trees to the top mat using Tape Runner.
-The sentiment is from the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set and was stamped with Shaded Spruce Ink.


-For this second card I did not us a standard top or bottom mat, instead I began by cutting a strip of Poinsettia Place DSP and used tape runner to attach it directly to the center of the card base.
-The bottom layer of the featured mat was cut from Garden Green CS, the top layer was cut from Whisper White CS.  
-I used the featured stamp set to stamp the tree grouping on a scrap piece of Whisper White CS using  Garden Green Ink , and the featured die to cut them out. It was popped up with Dimensionals.
-I used the dies alone to cut out the tall pine tree from Garden Green CS.
-The deer is from the Dashing Deer Stamp Set and was stamped with Early Espresso Ink, and cut out with the coordinating Detailed Deer Dies. It was popped up with Dimensionals.
-The sentiment is from the Free As A Bird stamp set, and stamped directly onto the layer with Garden Green Ink
-This card was inspired by one I saw on Pinterest but couldn't read the crafter's name. My apologies.


-For this third card the standard bottom mat was cut from Mossy Meadow CS that was embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder.
-The top mat was cut from a piece of Come Sail Away DSP.
-The trees are from the featured die set and were cut from Mossy Meadow CS.
-The moose is from the Merry Moose Stamp Set, it was stamped with Soft Suede Ink, onto Soft Suede CS and punched out with the Merry Moose Punch and popped up with Dimensionals.
-The sentiment is from the Climbing Rose Stamp Set and was stamped onto a scrap piece of Whisper White CS using Mossy Meadow Ink, cut out with one of the Tasteful Labels Dies, and popped up with Dimensionals.


-For this fourth card the standard size bottom mat was cut from Soft Suede CS.
-The standard size top mat was cut from Whisper White CS and embossed using the Pinewood Plank Embossing Folder.
-The moose was stamped and cut out and popped up as on the card above.
-The center tree was cut out using the featured dies from Granny Apple Green CS.
-The strip across the bottom was cut with the featured dies from Granny Apple Green CS and shaded with Old Olive Ink.
-The 2 other trees were stamped using the featured stamp set and Soft Suede ink on Crumb Cake CS and cut out with the coordinating dies.
-The sentiment is from the Floral Frames stamp set using Soft Suede Ink of a scrap piece of Granny Apple Green CS, cut out with one of the Stitched Label Dies and popped up with Dimensionals.
-This card was inspired by one I saw on Pinterest by Helen Read.

-For this fifth card the standard bottom mat was cut from Soft Suede CS.
-The top mat was cut from Crumb Cake CS and embossed using the Woodland Embossing folder.
-The circle was cut from Soft Suede CS using one of the Layering Circle Dies.
-The solid tree was cut from a scrap of Crumb Cake CS using the featured dies.
-The other trees were stamped on scraps of Whisper White CS, using Soft Suede Ink, cut out with the coordinating dies, and popped up with dimensionals.
-The sentiment is from Accented Bloom, was stamped with Soft Suede Ink, cut out using one of the Painted Layer Dies, and popped up with Dimensionals.
-This card was CASEd from one I saw on Pinterest by Connie Babbert.


-The standard size bottom mat for this last card was cut from Night of Navy CS.
-The DSP mat is from the True Gentleman DSP Set.
-The circle was cut from Very Vanilla CS using the Layering Circle Dies.
-The tree was cut from Garden Green CS.
-For this card I heat embossed the sentiment from the Fancy Phrases Stamp Set using Versamark Ink, White Embossing Powder and a Heat Gun, on a piece of Night of Navy CS, and cut it out using one of the Painted Layers Dies.  It was popped up with Dimensionals.

 This is Part 8 of a 10 Part Series of Masculine Cards that I have just completed using various stamp sets. I will be posting cards using other stamp sets over the next several days.

Today's post features the Lovely As A Tree  Stamp Set from Stampin' Up!.  One of my all time favorite stamp sets - now retired.

-The standard size bottom mat for this first card was cut from Early Espresso CS.
-The standard size top mat was cut from Whisper White CS, then I took 4 strips of some extra Washi Tape I wasn't using and placed one across the top edge, one across the bottom edge, and the other 2 evenly spaced across the middle area.
-Next I colored the areas in between the Washi Tape with Blending Brushes and Granny Apple Green, Old Olive, and Moss Meadow Inks (top to  bottom), removed the tape and colored the white area with Lemon Lime Twist Ink.
-Then I stamped the tress using Early Espresso Ink with 1st and 2nd generation stamping.
-The sentiment is from the Butterfly Gala Stamp Set and was stamped with Early Espresso Ink.


-The standard size bottom mat for this second card was cut from Blackberry Bliss CS.
-The standard size top mat was cut from Sahara Sand CS.
-Next I placed a mask over the top mat.  (Cut your desired size oval out of a scrap piece of CS using the Layering Oval Dies.  I attached the piece to the top mat using removable glue dots.  When I'm finished, I remove the mask and set it aside to be used on future cards.)
-I colored the inside of the oval using blending brushes with Blackberry Bliss, Cajun Craze, Pineapple Punch, and Early Espresso Inks.
-Then I stamped the "strip" of trees stamp from the featured set using Early Espresso ink, before removing the mask.
-Then remove the mask and stamp the large pine tree from the featured set using Early Espresso Ink..
-The sentiment is from the Posted For You stamp set and was stamped with Blackberry Bliss Ink.
-This card was CASEd from one I saw on Pinterest by Kimber Kreations.

Today's post features the Mountain Air Stamp Set and the coordinating Majestic Mountain Dies from Stampin' Up!. 

-The standard size bottom mat on this first card was cut from Shaded Spruce CS.
-The next mat was cut from Crumb Cake CS and embossed with the Old World Paper Embossing Folder which I inked with Sahara Sand Ink.
-The oval piece was cut from Whisper White CS, stamped with Early Espresso and Shaded Spruce Inks and then cut out using one of the Layering Oval Dies.  
-The oval was popped up with Dimensionals.




-The standard size bottom mat on this second card was cut from Gray Granite CS.
-The standard size top mat was cut from Pretty Peacock CS.
-I stamped the mountains and trees from the featured set on a single strip of Whisper White CS.  The mountains were stamped with Gray Granite Ink, the trees with Pretty Peacock Ink.
-Then I cut out the 3 pieces using the Postage Stamp Punch.
-The sentiment is from the Home to Roost Stamp Set , it was stamped on a scrap piece of Whisper White CS, using Pretty Peacock Ink, and cut out with the Lovely Labels Punch.
-This card was inspired by one I saw on Pinterest made by Laura Seki.


-The standard size bottom mat for this last card was cut from Early Espresso CS.
-The standard size top mat was cut from Sahara Sand CS and then the mountains were stamped with Sahara Sand and Crumb Cake inks, and the trees were stamped with Shaded Spruce ink (1st & 2nd generations stamping).
-The trees were cut with the coordinating dies from the featured set from Shaded Spruce CS.
-The bear was cut using the Snow Globe Scene Dies from Early Espresso CS.
-This card was inspired by one I saw on Pinterest by Stamp it up with Jamie.

-The standard bottom mat for this first card was cut from Garden Green CS.
-The middle mat for this card was cut from Soft Suede CS and embossed using the Corrugated Embossing Folder.
-The scenic top mat was cut from Whisper White CS.
-The cabin is from the featured set and was stamped using Soft Suede Ink, The grass in from the Sheltering Tree Stamp Set was stamped using Garden Green Ink.
-Then the top mat was shaded using Blending Brushes with Balmy Blue and Garden Green Inks.
-The sentiment is from the In the Pines Stamp Set and was stamped on a scrap piece of Whisper White CS using Garden Green Ink.

-The standard bottom mat for this second card and the bottom layer of the feature mat were cut from Shaded Spruce CS.
-The next mat was cut from Whisper White CS and then stamped with the Hardwood Stamp Set using Soft Suede Ink.
-The top layer of the feature mat was cut from Whisper White CS.
-The bear was stamped with Soft Suede ink and colored with the Soft Suede Stampin' Blends set. The grass underneath the bear was colored with the Shaded Spruce Stampin' Blends Set.
-The little trees were stamped with Shaded Spruce Ink and colored with the Shaded Spruce Stampin' Blends set.
-The sentiment is from the featured set and was stamped in Shaded Spruce Ink.
-The feature mat and the sentiment were both popped up with dimensionals.



-The standard bottom mat for this third card was cut from Soft Suede CS.
-The standard top mat was cut from Whisper White CS.
-The deer and trees are both from the featured set.  The deer was stamped with Memento Ink and colored with the Soft Suede Stampin' Blend set.  The trees were stamped with Old Olive ink and colored with the Old Olive Stampin' Blend Set.
-The grassy areas are from the Sheltering Tree Stamp Set and were stamped with Mossy Meadow ink.
-Next the card background was colored using Blending Brushes with Balmy Blue and Soft Suede Inks.
-The sentiment is from the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set and stamped with Mossy Meadow Ink.


-The standard bottom mat for this last card was cut from Soft Suede CS and embossed using the Pinewood Plank Embossing Folder.
-The decorative strip was cut from a piece of Shaded Spruce DSP.
-The oval was cut from a scrap piece of Whisper White CS using one of the Layered Oval Dies.
-The Cabin is from the featured set and was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with the Shaded Spruce, Soft Suede, Gray Granite and Smoky Slate Stampin' Blend Sets.  The background on this piece was lightly colored with Blending Brushes and Seaside Spray Ink.
-The sentiment piece is from the featured set and stamped with Soft Suede Ink and fussy cut.
-The oval and the sentiment were popped up with dimensionals.

This is Part 5 of a 10 Part Series of Masculine Cards that I have just completed using various stamp sets. I will be posting cards using other stamp sets over the next several days.


Today's post features the Waterfront and Snow Front Stamp Sets from Stampin' Up!.  I often combine the images from these 2 sets on cards I make.  Easy to make some quick and easy cards with these 2 sets.

For this first card I used the Snow Front Stamp Set.
-The bottom mat for this card was cut from Marina Mist CS.
-The top mat was cut from Whisper White CS and lightly sponged using Blending Brushes and Marina Mist Ink.
-I stamped the images using Early Espresso (trees), Soft Suede (deer), Real Red (birds), Memento (snowman), and Marina Mist (swirls) Inks.
-The sentiment is from the Sheltering Tree Stamp Set.
-This card was inspired by on I saw on Pinterest made by Cindy Elam.

This second card also features the Snow Front Stamp Set.
-The bottom mat for this card was cut from  Mossy Meadow CS and embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder.
-The top mat was cut from Whisper White CS.
- I stamped the images using Early Espresso (trees), Soft Suede (deer), Crumb Cake (mountains), Mossy Meadow and Old Olive (pines and grassy areas).  Then I used Blending Brushes to lightly color the background areas:  Balmy Blue (sky) and Old Olive (grass).
-I used one of  the Stitched Rectangle Dies to trim the top mat to desired size.
-The sentiment is from the Home To Roost stamp set and stamped in Early Espresso Ink.




This third card uses both the Waterfront and Snow Front Stamp Sets.
-The bottom mat was cut from Tranquil Tide CS.
-The top mat was cut from Whisper White CS.
-I stamped the images using Gray Granite and Smoky Slate (Mountain Area-Waterfront & Snow Front), Tranquil Tide (pines-Snow Front-1st and 2nd generation stamping), and Early Espresso (cabin-Snow Front).  Then I used Blending Brushes to lightly color the background with Soft Sky Ink.  
-The sentiment is from the Home To Roost Stamp set and is stamped in Early Espresso Ink.


This last card features the Waterfront Stamp Set.
-The standard bottom mat and the scalloped mat of the oval was cut from Shaded Spruce CS.
-The strip was cut from Forever Greenery DSP.
-The top mat of the oval was cut from Whisper White CS.
-The ovals were cut out using the Layering Ovals Dies.
-The images were stamped using Gray Granite (mountains) and Shaded Spruce (trees) Inks.
-The layered ovals were popped up with Dimensionals.
-The narrow strip at the bottom was cut from Gray Granite CS and wrapped with some dark green Twine.
-The sentiment is from the Home To Roost Stamp Set.
-This card was inspired by one I saw on Pinterest made by Mary Brown.

Today's post features the Sheltering Tree Stamp Set from Stampin' Up!. 


-For this first card the standard size bottom mat was cut from Tranquil Tide CS.
-The strip across the middle of the card was cut from True Gentleman DSP.
-The top mat was cut from Whisper White CS.  
-The tree and swing were stamped using Early Espresso Ink. 
-The leaves were stamped using Shaded Spruce and Bermuda Bay inks.  
-The grass strip was stamped with Tranquil Tide Ink.  This piece was popped up with Dimensionals.
-The sentiment is from the featured set and stamped with Tranquil Tide Ink.





-For this 2nd card the standard size bottom mat was cut from Calypso Coral CS.
-The top mat (3-3/8 x 4-5/8") was cut from Whisper White CS and lightly colored using Soft Sky Ink and a Blender Brush.
-The tree and rake were stamped using Early Espresso Ink.
-The leaves were stamped with Petal Pink and Calypso Coral Inks.
-The fence was cut out of Early Espresso CS using the Autumn Wheelbarrow Dies.
-The sentiment is from the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set, stamped with Earl Espresso Ink.

This is Part 3 of a 10 Part Series of Masculine Cards that I have just completed using various stamp sets. I will be posting cards using other stamp sets over the next several days.

Today's post features the Dragonfly Dreams Stamp Set and the coordinating Detailed Dragonfly Dies from Stampin' Up!. 

-The bottom mat on this first card was cut from Night of Navy CS.
-The top mat was cut from Whisper White CS.
-The "ferns" are from the Butterfly Basics Stamp Set and were stamped on the top mat using Granny Apple Green and Lemon Lie Twist inks (1st and 2nd generation stamping).
-The "dots" are from the Artisan Textures Stamp Set and were stamped with Lemon Lime Twist Ink.
-The dragonfly from the featured set was stamped on a scrap piece of Whisper White CS using Night of Navy Ink, cut out with the coordinating die, and then I sponged some Misty Moonlight Ink over the top of the piece to fill in the white space.
-The sentiment is from the Here's A Card Stamp Set and stamped  using Night of Navy Ink.
-The dragonfly was popped up with Dimensionals.


-The bottom mat on this 2nd card was cut from Granny Apple Green CS.
-The top mat  was also cut from Granny Apple Green CS, then embossed using the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder that I inked with Old Olive Ink.
-The circular piece in the center was cut from Granny Apple Green CS using one of the Painted Layers Dies. It was popped up with dimensionals.
-The dragonfly was stamped in Old Olive Ink of Whisper White CS, cut out, and then sponged with Granny Apple Green Ink.
-The sentiment is from the Tags in Bloom Stamp Set and was stamped using Old Olive Ink on a scrap piece of Granny Apple Green CS.  It was also popped up with dimensionals.




-This 3rd card only uses one mat.  It was cut from Misty Moonlight CS.
-Next I stamped the ferns from the Butterfly Basics Stamp Set and the "dots" from the Beautiful Blizzard Stamp Set using Night of Navy Ink.
-I have a stencil that I made quite some time ago for the "bokeh style" circles.  It is basically a piece of white CS, covered with some self-adhesive plastic laminating sheets, and then various sized circles cut out of it.  I used Whisper White Ink and a sponge dauber to color the circle shapes across the top mat.
-The sentiment is from the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set, stamped directly onto the mat using Night of Navy Ink.
- The dragonfly was stamped with Berry Burst and Night of Navy Inks, die cut with the coordinating die and popped up with Dimensionals.
-This card was inspired by one I saw on Pinterest made by Tina Kolivopoulos.

-The bottom mat for this for this last card was cut from Old Olive CS and embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder.
-The center strip was cut from  Pineapple Punch CS and then the dragonflies were stamped onto the strip using Old Olive Ink.
-The dragonfly was stamped on a scrap piece of Pineapple Punch CS using Old Olive Ink.  It was popped up with Dimensionals.
The sentiment is from the Blended Seasons Stamp Set, it was stamped with Old Olive Ink onto a scrap piece of Pineapple Punch CS and then cut out using one of the Painted Layers Dies.  It was also popped up with Dimensionals. 







Here's Another color option for this layout.  Though not in a masculine color scheme, this card features Melon Mambo and Dapper Denim Inks and Cardstock.

Today's post features the Rooted in Nature Stamp Set and the coordinating Nature's Root Dies from Stampin' Up!.  They are made similarly to yesterday's 3 cards.

-This first card features the "tall tree" from the featured set.
-The standard size bottom mat was cut from Tranquil Tide CS
-The standard size top mat was cut from Soft Suede CS, embossed using the Painted Texture Embossing Folder that was inked with Crumb Cake Ink.
-The bottom mat for the center panel was also cut from Tranquil Tide CS.
-The top mat for the center panel was cut from Whisper White CS, the tree was stamped with Tranquil Tide Ink, and the sentiment from the Home To Roost Stamp Set  was stamped with Soft Suede Ink.
-The center panel was popped up with dimensionals.



-This next card features the "wide tree" from the Rooted in Nature Bundle.
-The standard size bottom mat was cut from Pumpkin Pie CS.
-The top mat was cut from Whisper White CS and colored using Blender Brushes with Pacific Point, Perfect Plum, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, and Garden Green Inks.
-The "tree" was stamped in the center using Garden Green Ink. 
-The sentiment is from the Sheltering Tree stamp set and was stamped using Garden Green Ink.


-This last card features the "leaves" from the Rooted In Nature Bundle.
-The standard bottom mat was cut from Just Jade CS.
-The standard top mat was cut from Whisper White CS, I used Just Jade Ink to stamp the leaf images onto the top mat.
-The bottom mat on the middle layer panel was cut from Just Jade CS, the top mat from Just Jade DSP.
-The bottom mat on the top layer panel was cut from Just Jade CS, the top mat from Whisper White CS which was stamped with a sentiment from the featured stamp set using just Jade Ink. This panel was popped up with dimensionals.
-The die cut leaves were stamped with Just Jade Ink, cut out with the coordinating dies and popped up with Dimensionals. I added an enamel shape to this cluster of leaves which were popped up with dimensionals

-The bottom mat for the sentiment panel was also cut from Tranquil Tide CS.
-The top mat for the sentiment panel was cut from Whisper White CS, the wood round shape was stamped with Sahara Sand Ink, and the sentiment from the featured set was stamped with Tranquil Tide Ink.

These cards feature the Little Ladybug Stamp Set and the coordinating Ladybug Dies from Stampin' Up!.  


For this card the standard bottom mat was cut from Basic Black CS.

The standard top mat was cut from a piece of Botanical Butterfly DSP.

The feature mat (2-1/4 x 5") was cut from Real Red CSs.

The ladybugs and flower were stamped on Whisper White CS using Memento Ink and colored with Stampin' Blends using the Daffodil Delight, Real Red, Granny Apple Green, Gray Granite, and Petal Pink Sets, and then cut out with the coordinating dies

The sentiment is from the featured set, stamped with Real Red Ink, and cut out with a die from the Stitched Label Die Set.

The two ladybugs were popped up with Dimensionals.

Lastly I added a few Glitter Enamel Dots.

The ladybug was stamped on Whisper White CS using Memento Ink and colored with Stampin' Blends using the Poppy Parade, Gray Granite, and Petal Pink Sets, and then cut out with the coordinating die.

The flower was stamped  on Whisper White CS  and the petals were colored with Pacific Point and Dapper Denim Stampin' Write Markers, the center was colored with  Mango Melody Stampin' Blends,  the leaf and stem with Old Olive Stampin' Blends.

The sentiment is from the featured set, stamped with Pacific Point Ink onto Daffodil Delight CS, and cut out with the Postage Stamp Punch.

The ladybug, flower and sentiment  were popped up with Dimensionals.

Lastly I added a few Glitter Enamel Dots.
