Have you used Stampin' Up!'s Detailed Floral Thinlits yet.  This is a great Quick and Easy card to put together.  I die cut both of the flower dies on one piece of cardstock leaving space in between for a sentiment.   Pick the sentiment of your choice to fill the gap between the 2 cuts, pop-up on a thin strip of ribbon, & you are done.   These are A2 size cards.

-Soft Sky Bottom Base Mat:  (5-1/4" x 4")
-Bermuda Bay Top Mat:  (5-1/4" x 4")
-Scrap piece of Whisper White to stamp the sentiment

Directions:
--Cut the top and bottom mats to size per list - note for this design both mats are the same size.
--Die Cut the Bermuda Bay Top mat using the small floral die  from Floral Phrases at the top and the larger floral die at the bottom - this leaves a nice gap in the middle to apply (or stamp) a sentiment.
--Stamp your sentiment onto a scrap of whisper white  using Bermuda Bay ink and then die cut with the label in Stitched Label Framelits as indicated.
--Attach the top mat to the Soft Sky Bottom mat using glue and/or tape runner.

Another Beautiful You card using both the Beautiful You and High Tide stamp sets from Stampin' Up!.  For this card you need to create masks to cover and protect both the Sun and the Girl when coloring the background areas.  Then it is mostly sponging the sky, water and sun and using Aqua Painters for the Girl's dress, hat, arms & legs.  This is an A7 size card.

Material List:
-Stamp Set:  Beautiful You, High Tide
-Tools:  Aqua Painters, Sponge Daubers,
-Cardstock:  Tranquil Tide, Watercolor Paper
-Inks: Marina Mist, Tranquil Tide, Pool Party, Crushed Curry, -Daffodil Delight, Smoky Slate, Dapper Denim, Blushing Bride

-Tranquil Tide Bottom Base Mat:  (6-3/4"  x 4-3/4" )
-Watercolor Paper for Top Mat:   (6-1/2"  x 4-1/2" )

Directions:
--Cut the top and bottom mats to size per list.
--Start by creating a mask for the Sun by cutting out a circle from a scrap of removable Post-It.  Place the mask in the location where you want the sun positioned.
--Stamp the girl from the Beautiful You set where indicated.
--Stamp the Girl on a removable piece of Post-It tape and cut out to make a mask - position to completely cover the girl.
--Sponge around the masks using Marina Mist ink on the whole top mat.
--Then use a strip of Post-It Tape to mask a section of the card above the horizon line so you can apply additional colors of ink to the lower section.  I used the water stamp from High Tide in Tranquil Tide, then sponged some Pool Party & Dapper Denim - continue to sponge until you are satisfied with the color of the water.
--Remove the masks.
--Sponge the Sun with Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry inks until you are satisfied with the color of the sun.
--Watercolor the girl's dress and hat with Tranquil Tide, and her arms and legs with Blushing Bride using Aqua Painters.
-Stamp the Seagulls where indicated using Smoky Slate ink
--Attach the Watercolor top Mat to Tranquil Tide Mat & then both to the Card Base using tape runner.

--I also sprayed some shimmer spray on the whole card - you could use Wink of Stella also (optional).

You should keep the masks you create for later use on other cards.

Just finished several alternative cards from Stampin' Up!'s May 2018 Manly Moments Paper Pumpkin Kit. These are all A2 size cards.

This Happy Birthday card features the Waterfront stamp set by Stampin' Up!  I think found this to be a quick and easy masculine card. I created this "Thinking of You" card featuring one of the birds from Stampin' Up!'s "Best Birds" stamp set based on card sketch #29 by Dawn Griffith.  I used Pool Party, Crumb Cake, & Daffodil Delight Stampin Blends to color the bird and die cut it using the coordinating die from Birds and Blooms Thinlits. I stamped the "Marbled" Stamp in Pool Party ink for the background mat - which was cut with one of the Lots of Framelits Dies. The other mats are cut out of  Pool Party, Early Expresso & Tranquil Tide cardstock. The card was embellished with coordinating Enamel Shapes. This is an A2 size card.

Material List:
 -Stamp Sets:  Best Birds, Marbled

-Cardstock: Pool Party, Whisper White, Early Espresso & Tranquil Tide, Vellum
-Inks: Pool Party,  Tuxedo Black Memento
-Tools:  Pool Party, Daffodil Delight & Crumb Cake Stampin Blends

Here are a couple of my alternatives for the April 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit "You Are My Anchor" from Stampin' Up!  What a fun set with endless possibilities of cards for all your beach and sea-faring friends. I love this color combination of Calypso Coral, Island Indigo & Pool Party.  These are all A2 size cards.

I have made several alternative cards from the March 2018 Paper Pumpkin "May Good Things Grow" kit from Stampin' Up!. These are a few examples.  I was fortunate to have ordered an extra kit so have plenty of materials left to work with.  I didn't use any of the envelopes for the purpose that they were intended - but instead trimmed them to size for the front of the cards. I especially loved the flower in the stamp set and the colors/patterns of the card stock included.
