These cards feature the Forever Fern Stamp Set from Stampin' Up!. Definitely one of my favorite sets from the 20-21 Annual Catalog, though I did not use the coordinating dies for these two cards.
This is part 7 of a Series of Cards Made with the Forever Fern Bundle.
MATS: The Bottom Mat was cut from Tranquil Tide CS.
The Top Mat was cut from Whisper White CS and then I stamped a stripe of Soft Sea Foam, Mint Macaron, Tranquil Tide and Pretty Peacock Inks across the center of the piece. I used Post-It Tape to section off block shapes on the top mat, and then applied ink and water to a Glass Block stamping each block one at a time and moving the tape as needed across the stripe.
Next I stamped the leaf/flower pieces and "dots" from the featured set onto the mat using the same color inks as above.
THE SENTIMENT was stamped in Pretty Peacock Ink on Whisper White CS using a stamp from the featured set. I cut the piece to length and width as shown and mounted it onto a scrap piece of Tranquil Tide CS.
LASTLY: I added a few coordinating Faceted Dots.
This card was made similar to the one above.
MATS: The Bottom Mat was cut from Fresh Fig CS.
The Top Mat was stamped a stripe of Daffodil Delight, Fresh Fig and Old Olive Inks.
Next I stamped the leaf/flower pieces and "dots" from the featured set onto the mat using the same color inks listed in the paragraph above. For this card though I only stamped the dots on the top and bottom thirds of the mat and the "Leaf" pieces were extended into these areas as well.
THE SENTIMENT this time was stamped with Fresh Fig Ink and mounted onto a scrap piece of Fresh Fig CS.
LASTLY: I added a few coordinating Enamel Shapes.
