Another birthday card created using sentiments from the Happy Wishes stamp set available in Stampin' Up!'s Sale-A-Bration Catalog and is free with $100 purchase thru 3/31/18. For this one I combined the sentiment with flowers stamped from both the Flower Shop & Petite Petals stamp sets, cut with coordinating punches, and leaves cut using the May Flower Framelits dies. Flowers and sentiments were stamped with Pumpkin Pie ink. Mounted on a mat of Peekaboo Peach Designer series paper. A7 size card. I aligned all the stamps together on one large block and stamped in several different colors - I saved some of them for later use.
In searching for some card ideas on Pinterest and You Tube I started watching card-making videos for ideas and techniques - and have become hooked. I was impressed with the quality and variety of coordinating products from Stampin' Up! and became an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in May of 2017.

This birthday card was created using sentiments from the Happy Wishes stamp set available in Stampin' Up!'s Sale-A-Bration Catalog which you can get for free when combined with any order totaling $100. You can combine the large "happy" or "best" stamp design with sentiments for birthdays, anniversaries, or friendship. For this one I combined the sentiment with flowers and leaves from the Flower Patch stamp set cut with coordinating Flower Fair Thinlits dies. All were stamped with Tempting Turquoise ink. A2 size card.
This colorful alternative for the Flora & Flutter Paper Pumpkin kit from December of 2017 was pretty easy to create. The Sahara Sand mat is from the kit. The background mat was stamped in Calypso Coral ink using the large detailed flower from Stampin' Up!'s Heartfelt Blooms stamp set. The sentiment was also part of the kit. I added some small butterflies stamped using their Papillion Potpourri stamp set, some matching twine and a few coordinating enamel shapes. A7 size card. What a great kit this is. I have created 8 alternative cards so far and still have lots of card bases, and background mats leftover to use at a later date.
These 2 Flora & Flutter Paper Pumpkin alternatives are designed for the younger crowd. The "leaf" mats were from the kit. The Pandas were hand cut from the really popular Party Panda stamp set, placed on a Tranquil Tide cardstock background, and used one of several sentiments included in the kit. The Bears, Beehive and Bees from A Little Wild stamp set and coordinating Thinlits dies with the background paper included in the kit. These are both A2 size cards.
This Thank You card is another alternative using Flora & Flutter Paper Pumpkin Kit from December 2017 and inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest created by Stamptastic Designs. The background is a watercolor wash and spattered using Stampin' Up!'s Marina Mist ink. The leaves and sentiment were stamped with their Tranquil Tide ink. This sentiment is from the Positively Picturesque PP Kit. Butterflies and Flowers were stamped in Berry Burst Ink from Papillion Potpourri and Petite Flowers stamp sets and cut with coordinating punches. A7 size card.
Here's another alternative for the Flora & Flutter Paper Pumpkin kit from December 2017. The card base is Stampin' Up!'s Rich Razzleberry cardstock. The white mat was stamped with the butterfly stamp in the kit with Rich Razzleberry ink. The ones on the center panel are popped up. The leaves were stamped in Pear Pizzazz. The Celebrate sentiment was cut using their Celebrate You Thinlits die set. This card was CASEd from one I saw on Pinterest designed by Lynn Dunn of Stamptastic Designs. A7 size card.

Another Flora & Flutter Paper Pumpkin alternative. I started by spattering some Marina Mist ink on the card mat and then added some leaf stems using one of the stamps in the kit. The Sahara Sand leaves pieces were cut off one of the card bases provided. I added a layered butterfly created using Stampin' Up!'s Papillion Potpourri stamp set, Dapper Denim ink, and coordinating punch and then added it to a die cut butterfly from their Butterflies Thinlits. This sentiment is from a Stampabilities Card Phrase stamp set.
This alternative A7 size card using the December 2017 Paper Pumpkin kit "Flora & Flutter" was inspired by one I saw on Pinterest created by Lynn Dunn of Stamptastic Designs. The background mat is Stampin' Up!'s Crushed Curry. The flowers are stamped with their Berry Burst ink, the leaves and stems with Garden Green. The sentiment and butterflies are also included in this kit. I finished off with some coordinating strips of cardstock and enamel shapes.
My first alternative using the December 2017 Flora & Flutter Paper Pumpkin kit. I cut the Calypso Coral card base in half and used the circle half on the A7 size card. For the background I used Stampin' Up!'s aqua brushes to watercolor on white card stock. The Happy Birthday sentiment is also from the kit and was stamped with Peekaboo Peach ink on the same color cardstock, backed with a piece of Calypso Coral. The ribbon is Peekaboo Peach as well. I stamped the butterflies with Soft Sky Ink on Soft Sky paper using the one of the stamps from their Papillion Potpourri stamp set and cut with the coordinating punch. And finished off with some coordinating enamel shapes.
Here are 2 more alternatives using the August 2016 Paper Pumpkin Kit, Bold Botanicals. Use the "corner" stamp from the kit to completely fill along the outside edges of the card. This time I have used a color cardstock base mat for each of these which changes up the look. The sentiment is from the kit but stamped on white card stock ovals, cut using Stampin' Up!'s Stitched Shapes Framelit dies. And then using their coordinating markers to color in the flowers and leaves on the popped up sentiment shape.
These 5 alternative cards were also made with August 2016 Paper Pumpkin, Bold Botanicals. Using the "corner" stamp in each of the four corners of this A2 size card. Filling the space in between with ribbons or a strip of card stock. Then popping up one of the 4 large sentiments included in the kit on an oval shape cut from Stampin' Up!'s Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies and stamped with Wild Wasabi and Cherry Cobbler inks. Using your favorite color ink and sentiments you can create a good number of cards very easily.
This one uses Bermuda Bay ink, a strip of designer series paper for the center strip beneath the sentiment, and the coordinating Bermuda Bay marker to color in some of the flowers and leaves.
This one was stamped with Wisteria Wonder ink and colored with the coordinating marker on a smaller piece of white card stock. There was no space to fill in on the center of the card, a stitched circle die was used for the sentiment.
I have been creating cards using one of my favorite Paper Pumpkin kits, Bold Botanicals from August 2016. This first one is closest to the original design except I used Stampin' Up! Tranquil Tide Ink instead of the Early Expresso that came in the kit. Just a bit brighter for my tastes. I think it would look nice using Cajun Craze as well.
