This special Birthday card has a secret pocket on the front where you can hide a message.  The  banner on the left side of the card is raised up using foam adhesive strips so that a message can be slid underneath it.  A really clever idea that was inspired by Dawn & Richard Griffith.

Set:  Beautiful Bouquet & Bouquet Bunch Dies
Inks:  Tranquil Tide, Berry Burst, Perfect Plum, Daffodil Delight, Wisteria Wonder, & Fresh Fig
Cardstock:  Whisper White, Berry Burst
Embellishments:  Rhinestones, Berry Burst Metallic-Edge Ribbon, Glitter Enamel Dots

Miscellaneous:  Scissors, Paper Cutter, Dimensionals, Tombow Glue, Foam Adhesive Tape Strips

Card Base:  A2 Card (Folded Size 5-1/2"H x 4-1/4"W)
DSP Bottom Base Mat:  (5-1/4"H x 4"W)
Whisper White Flower Mat:  (3-1/2"H x 3"W)
Berry Burst for Banner:  (2-1/4" W x 4-3/4" H)
Scrap of Whisper White for Insert: (1-1/2"W x 4"H)

-Cut all the pieces above.
-Notch the Berry Burst Banner.
-Stamp the stems, flowers and sentiment on the Whisper White CS as indicated or with colors and flowers of your choice. I used Tranquil Tide, Berry Burst, Perfect Plum, Daffodil Delight, Wisteria Wonder & Fresh Fig inks to stamp the flowers.
-Stamp the flower and 2nd sentiment on the Whisper White strip.
-Attach the DSP to the card base with Tape Runner.
-Then attach Foam Adhesive Tape Strips to the back of the Berry Burst Strip - 1 across the top edge, 1 down each of the 2 side edges, and 1 down the middle.  DO NOT REMOVE THE BACKING FROM THE CENTER STRIP - THIS WILL CREATE THE SECRET POCKET FOR THE INSERT.  Remove the backing off the other 3 strips and attach it to the DSP mat on the card base.
-Punch out a small hole in the bottom of the white stamped insert and tie a small piece off ribbon in the hole to use as a tab to pull the insert out of the pocket as indicated in the picture.
-Glue the Flower mat onto the card as indicated - use dimensionals on the right hand side to balance the mat properly onto the card base.
-Attach a tiny bow in the corner of the white flower mat
-Attach the Rhinestones & Glitter Enamel Dots where desired.

I have made several cards using the February 2018 Paper Pumpkin "Wildflower Wishes" kit from Stampin' Up!.  Have lots of materials left and even ordered a refill.  I especially love the large die cut sentiments and the flower die cuts which make it pretty easy to put a quick card together.  I don't think I made any cards using the directions from the kit but it is still very inspiring and came with a great stamp set. These are all A2 size cards.

This Thank You card was created using several Stampin' Up! stamp sets - Wild About Flowers, Daisy Delight and Beautiful Bouquet.  The background was masked on the edges and then sponged with Marina Mist, Pumpkin Pie and Wild Wasabi inks.  The stems and flowers were stamped using and then the sentiment.  Some washi tape was added to each side and then all mounted on to a Dapper Denim mat, then onto an A7 size card.

Material List:
--Stamp Sets: Wild About Flowers, Daisy Delight & Beautiful Bouquet
--Inks: Crushed Curry, Elegant Eggplant, Marina Mist, Pear Pizzazz, Pumpkin Pie and Wild Wasabi.
--Embellishments: Washi Tape
--Card Base:  A7 card (Folded Size 7" W x 5" H)
--Dapper Denim Bottom Base Mat:  (6-3/4" W x 4-3/4" H)
--Whisper White Top Mat:   (6-1/2" W x 4-1/2" H)
--Paper Cutter, Tombow Glue

Directions:
--Cut all the mats per list.
--Use some removable tape or post-its to mask the sides of the Whisper White CS mat. 3/4" on each side
--Then sponge the background colors - Marina Mist, Pumpkin Pie & Wild Wasabi - blending well.
--Stamp the Whisper White mat with with flowers and stems from the stamp sets listed as indicated. Stems with Pear Pizzazz first, then flowers.
--Stamp the sentiments which are from the Daisy Delight stamp set. I used Elegant Eggplant but I think next time I would use Marina Mist.
--Remove the masking paper.
--Attach 2 Strips of coordinating Washi Tape on the sides.  Bakers Twine or Ribbon could be used instead.
--Attach White Mat to Dapper Denim Mat & then both to the card Base using tape runner.

This colorful butterfly card was created with Stampin' Up!'s Watercolor Wings stamp set and one of the dies from their Butterflies Thinlits (both are retiring May 31, 2018 or while supplies last).  It is a new stamp set for me and I'm looking forward to making many more cards with it. The butterfly was stamped once on the card and then a second time on a scrap of Whisper White CS.  The butterfly that's on the top was die cut and then layered onto the other - applying glue only to the body of the butterfly so the wings could "flutter".

Materials Needed:
Stamp Set:  Watercolor Wings
Dies: Butterflies Thinlits Dies
Inks: Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, Dapper Denim, Chocolate Chip
Card Base:  A2 card (Folded Size 5-1/2" W x 4-1/4" H)
Bermuda Bay Bottom Base Mat: (5-1/4" W x 4" H)
Whisper White Top Mat:  (5" W x 3-3/4" H)
Scrap of Whisper White for 2nd Butterfly
Paper Cutter, Tombow Glue, Stamparatus (optional)

Directions:
Cut all the mats per list.
--Stamp 1st Butterfly on the Whisper White CS mat as indicated (do not stamp the body of the butterfly on the card stock).
--Stamp 2nd Butterfly on the scrap piece of Whisper White CS.
--Stamp the Sentiments, and dots on Whisper White CS mat as indicated.
--Use the appropriately sized Butterfly Thinlits to die cut the 2nd butterfly
--Glue the 2nd butterfly on top of the 1st butterfly (body section only) using Tombow glue and then fold up the wings for fluttering effect.
--Attach White Mat to Bermuda Bay Green Mat & then attach them to the card Base using a taper runner.

Hint: You may want to use the Stamparatus to help with the alignment of the 4 layered Butterfly.
Live, Laugh, Love - I have always loved that sentiment, so when I saw a Recollections die set at my local Michaels with those dies, I had to have it.  And as several products in the 17-18 annual catalog for Stampin' Up! are retiring on May 31st, I decided to buy their Bloomin' Love stamp set and coordinating Bloomin' Heart Thinlits Dies, before they were gone, to combine for this lovely card.  What a great set for Valentine, Wedding or Anniversary cards.  I cut the heart out of some pink pearl paper and mounted it on a tiny dotted pink paper I had in my stash.  The tiny die cut flowers for stamped in Pink Pirouette ink.  And added some White Perfect Accents embellishments. This is an A7 size card.

Material List:
-Stamp Set:  Bloomin' Love
-Dies: SU Bloomin' Heart Thinlits
-Inks: Pink Pirouette
-Embellishments:  White Perfect Accents
-Card Base:  A7 card (Folded Size 7" W x 5" H)
-Pink Pirouette Bottom Base Mat: (6-3/4" W x 4-3/4" H)
-Pink Dotted Paper Top Mat:  (6-1/2" W x 4-1/2" H)
-Scrap of Pink Pearl Paper for Heart Die Cut
-Scraps f Whisper  for stamped flowers and sentiment.
- Paper Cutter, Tombow Glue

Directions:
--Cut all the mats per list.
--Die Cut the heart.
--Stamp the flowers on Whisper White CS and die cut them.
--Die Cut or stamp the sentiment of your choice.
--Glue the small flowers onto the die cut heart as indicated.
--Glue the heart to the mat as indicated.
--Glue the sentiment.
--Attach the White Perfect Accents.
--Attach the DSP mat to the Pink Pirouette Mat.
--Attach above to the Card Base using a tape runner.

Stampin' Up!'s Birthday Blossoms stamp set (retiring May 31st) was used to create this card.  I used their Crushed Curry, Perfect Plum, and Wild Wasabi inks to stamp the flowers, leaves, and sentiments -  and matted them on rectangles cut from the same colors of cardstock.  The flowers were die cut using their Pansy Punch (retiring May 31st).  I had been eyeing this stamp set for some time now and glad I was able to purchase the set before the inventory was depleted.   Their Flower Shop stamp set is also retiring this year - so sad to see it go as it uses the same Pansy Punch and I have created lots and lots of cards with the set. This is an A7 size card and was inspired by a sketch provided by Dawn Griffith.
Here's another card using the Flourish Thinlits Dies from Stampin' Up!.  I have cut the flower shapes from a gold foil paper and then matted them on some small squares of Springtime Foils DSP which I daubed with some Crushed Curry ink.  The centers of the flowers were embellished with some silver metallic hearts.  This sentiment is from the March Paper Pumpkin "May Good Things Grow" kit and was stamped in Crushed Curry ink onto a Lots of Labels Framelits die cut. This is an A7 size card inspired by a sketch provided by Dawn Griffith.
These 2 cards were created using Stampin' Up!'s Flourishing Phrases stamp set and coordinating Flourish Thinlits dies. Both of these cards were inspired by sketches provided by Dawn Griffith.

For this first card I started by creating a background by stamping the large flower flourish onto white cardstock using Wisteria Wonder Ink.  The dies and large background mat were cut from Elegant Eggplant cardstock.  The smaller mat is Perfect Plum cardstock.  The sentiment is from their Birthday Blossoms stamp set and stamped with Perfect Plum ink.  The sentiment and flower block were popped up with Stampin' dimensionals.  And a couple of their silver Metallic Enamel Shapes were added for that little bit of bling.

This 2nd card was done in Emerald Green ink and coordinating cardstock. The sentiment is also from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set.   The butterfly is from the retired Papillion Potpourri stamp set - but any butterfly stamp could be used.
This card was created using Stampin' Up!'s Party Pandas stamp set.  The pandas were stamped and fussy cut - then applied to some background mats.  This mat then slips into a little pocket made from some diagonal cuts of coordinating cardstock.  The balloon (cut from green glitter paper) was punched with the Balloon Bouquet punch.  This is an 2 size card inspired by a sketch provided by Dawn Griffith.
This card was created using the Beautiful Peacock stamp set from Stampin' Up!'s 2018 Sale-A-Bration catalog.  The images were stamped directly onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock using their Marina Mist, Tranquil Tide, Pear Pizzazz and Soft Sky inks and then matted onto a piece of Dapper Denim cardstock and embellished with a coordinating ribbon. The sentiment is from their Birthday Blossoms stamp set. This is an A7 size card. The stamp set was free during the months of January thru March 2018 with a qualifying purchase.
This card was created using the Amazing You stamp set from Stampin' Up!'s 2018 Sale-A-Bration catalog.  The flowers and sentiment were stamped with their Pacific Point ink. Two of the flowers were fussy cut and popped up onto a water-colored background, and then matted onto a piece of Pacific Point cardstock and embellished with a coordinating ribbon.  This is an A2 size card inspired by a Pinterest post done by Amanda Fowler. The stamp set was free during the months of January thru March 2018 with a qualifying purchase.
This lovely basket was stamped using Stampin' Up!'s Blossoming Basket stamp set and colored with their Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake and Old Olive Stampin' Blends alcohol markers - mounted on coordinating cardstock and DSP. The sentiment is from their Heartfelt Blooms stamp set. This is an A2 size card inspired by a sketch provided by Dawn Griffith. The stamp and die sets were free during the months of January thru March 2018 with a qualifying purchase.
This card was created using the Amazing You stamp set & the coordinating Celebrate You Thinlits dies from Stampin' Up!'s 2018 Sale-A-Bration catalog.  The flower and sentiment were stamped in their Crushed Curry ink. The dies cut from Crushed Curry cardstock.  All mounted on Dapper Denim cardstock and coordinating DSP. This is an A2 size card inspired by a sketch provided by Dawn Griffith. The stamp and die sets were free during the months of January thru March 2018 with a qualifying purchase.
This card was stamped using Stampin' Up!'s Heartfelt Blooms which was available from their 2018 Sale-A-Bration catalog (January 3rd thru March 31st). It was free with a $50 purchase during the promotion.  The flower and coordinating sentiment were stamped in Rose Red ink - mounted on DSP and matching Rose Red cardstock & embellished with Rose Red enamel shapes.  I love the details of this flower stamp.  This is an A7 size card and inspired by a sketch provided by Dawn Griffith.

Another birthday card using Stampin' Up!'s Daisy Delight stamp set and coordinating Daisy Punch.
The flowers are stamped with their Wisteria Wonder ink, the stems, leaves and sentiments in Garden Green ink - all mounted on Garden Green cardstock.  And a couple of coordinating heart embellishments.  This is an A7 size card.
This card uses 2 of Stampin' Up!'s stamp sets - Weather Together with the coordinating Umbrella Framelits and Bella and Friends.  When I first got the Weather Together set I spent many hours cutting umbrellas in many colors and patterns.  This is only the 2nd card I have put together, using one of the umbrellas, but I think it is a fun card and I am sure I will make several more versions in the months to come.  This is an A2 size card.

I just recently got the Sheltering Tree stamp set from Stampin' Up!.  And then waited to get their Stamparatus to try out layering the set using the four sides of the 2 stamping platforms.  It worked great.  I made this card and then my friend made almost an exact duplicate without having to move any of the stamps off the platforms.  I have seen several cards using this general layout but inking with colors and stamps reflective of the four seasons of the year and hope to try something similar in the months ahead.  Added a couple of tiny butterflies for this summer version. I just love this sentiment. This is an A7 size card.

I love Stampin' Up!'s detailed dies.  This card is cut using their Flourish Thinlits Dies and the coordinating Flourishing Phrases stamp set, stamped with their Fresh Fig ink. This is an A7 size card.
My sister was up visiting several weeks ago and we decided to CASE some cards we saw on Pinterest.  I love the detailed Butterflies Thinlits dies from Stampin' Up! so we searched for some quick and easy ideas online.

The first one was CASEd from a card we saw by Wanda Pettijohn from My Creative Corner.  I used a patterned designer paper for the butterfly die cut and accented it with Rich Razzleberry cardstock and ink.  The sentiment is from Stampin' Up!'s Butterfly Basics stamp set.

The second one was CASEd from a card we saw by Mary Brown from Create with Connie and Mary.  I matched some designer paper I had on had with some Tranquil Tide cardstock and ink. And used the same sentiment stamp from Stampin Up!'s Butterfly Basics stamp set.
